St. Liberata Fest a feast of Italian culture and food

Posted

Saturday’s St. Liberata Festival was a feast, featuring al fresco dining, food trucks and brown bags of piping-hot zeppoles, dripping in oil and powdered-sugary goodness. The event, which shut down Main Street for five hours, is a celebration of Italian culture and food. The village’s own housing inspector, Joseph Brandi, was honored with the title of Italian-American of the Year.
