The Moriches Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their Spring Fair on June 14 and launched their Summer Concert Series dates. The Moriches Fire Department will also be hosting their Strawberry Festival this month.
The chamber, according to president Jackie Osborne, will also be announcing a special centennial celebration currently in the planning stages.
The annual Spring Fair will take place on Sunday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. According to the chamber, Main Street will be closed for the day, creating a safe and festive atmosphere for the entire community to enjoy.
“This year’s event promises a fun-filled day featuring a wide variety of vendors, live music from talented local artists, delicious food trucks, and offerings from our wonderful local restaurants. Be sure to stop in and explore the many unique shops along Main Street,” said Osborne. “Be sure to mark your calendar and save the date for this special community event—we look forward to seeing you there!”
The Center Moriches Fire Department Company One will also be hosting their annual Strawberry Festival on Sunday, June 14. The event is held in conjunction with the Spring Fair and will run to coincide from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the firehouse. The Strawberry Shortcake will be the highlight of the day, as it is the fire department’s famous fundraiser.
The Summer Concert Series will launch next month in July, sponsored by Legis. Jim Mazzarella as well as the Center Moriches Library for their donations to the chamber.
“Save the dates and join us for a night under the stars, enjoying the sounds of some of the best bands on Long Island,” said Osborne.
The chamber suggests concertgoers bring a lawn chair and relax with friends and family!
