New East Islip halal restaurant hosts grand opening

Members of the Long Island Motorcycle Riders and NYDR motorcycle group joined Mohamed Siraj Salahudeen on Saturday, May 15, to celebrate the grand opening of Salah’s Halal Food, located at 103 Main Street in East Islip. Salahudeen is an avid motorcyclist with the groups. The namesake of the restaurant honors Mohamed's father, who died in October 2020.
