On Sept. 15, the New York State Redistricting Commission released two separate sets of maps for debate, as the bipartisan commission could not come to an agreement on one set of maps. The final maps are due Jan. 15, 2022. If the commission does not come to an agreement by then, the process could end up in the court of the state legislature.
