Suffolk County Police have arrested a West Islip man for possession of child pornography, police said in a press release.
Following an investigation, Computer Crimes Unit detectives arrested Nicholas Pedagno for possessing child pornography on March 28 at approximately 5 p.m. Upon examination of his portable electronic device, investigators found several accounts during which Pedagno identified himself as a younger person in various chat applications. The accounts and identifications included:

Pedagno, 73, was charged with Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, an E Felony, police said. He is scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on April 15. Detectives are asking anyone with information or believes they may be a victim of Pedagno to contact the Computer Crimes Unit at 631-852-6279.
