The Islip 2022-2023 budget passed with 1,230 yes votes and 516 no votes. Proposition two to create a capital reserve fund was passed with 1,196 yes votes and 508 no votes. Proposition three to create a repair reserve fund was passed with 1,186 yes votes and 512 no votes.
In the board of education races incumbent Matt Clareen defeated Kristin Presti with Clareen receiving 947 votes and Presti 743 votes. In the seat held by incumbent Danielle Flora, Flora defeated Kristy Evans. Flora received 1,048 votes while Presti received 606 votes.
