Hershey’s Ice Cream of West Islip

Hershey’s Ice Cream of West Islip will have the Easter Bunny stopping by on April 13 at their location on 470 Union Boulevard. Starting at 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., you will be able to take your child’s photo with the Easter Bunny. The event is free, but if you have a sweet tooth, there will be ice cream available for purchase.

Brightwaters Egg Hunt

Brightwaters will have their annual Easter egg hunt at Wohseepee Park on April 16 at 3 p.m., sponsored by Brightwaters Village and the Bay Shore Lions Club. The event will include two different time slots to ensure a fun time for all. Ages 4 and under will start at 3 p.m. and ages 5 and older will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Hop to the Rescue

The Bay-Shore Brightwaters Rescue Ambulance will host an Easter event on April 5 at 911 Atletta Place in Bay Shore.  There will be many activities for children such as Easter crafts, egg hunts, Easter Bunny selfies and more. Registration is required for different time slots, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., each being an hour and a half long.

It is $15 for the first child, and $10 for each additional child. There will also be cotton candy, baked goods, and raffle tickets available for purchase. To register head to https://forms.office.com/r/Hfjxp3f0Wz.

Local Burger

Local Burger, located on Main Street in Bay Shore, will be having an Easter Bunny Brunch on April 12. From 10 a.m. to noon, you can have brunch along with a goodie bag and coloring sheet from the Easter Bunny, along with a photo. Brunch includes eggs, bacon and pancakes or French toast sticks, as well as coffee and juice. Visit localburger.com to purchase tickets.

Zest

Zest will have the Easter Bunny stopping by on April 13. The restaurant, located at 298 W Main Street in Bay Shore, will also have an Easter brunch menu available. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be activities such as face painting, giveaways, sand art and games.

The first 20 people to make reservations will receive a $25 Zest gift card for use on your next visit. To make a reservation call (631)647-4497.

An ‘egg’cellent movie night

The Town of Islip will host a drive-in movie night on April 11, sponsored by Good Samaritan University Hospital. They will be screening “Peter Rabbit,” the perfect movie to get into the Easter spirit. Gates will open at 6 p.m. and the movie will start at 7:45 p.m. at Byron Lake Park in Oakdale.

Admission is free, but nonperishable food donations are welcomed. It’ll be an ‘eggs’traordinary evening for all.
