BUSINESS STUDENT OF THE MONTH
February - Max Rayburn
The Chamber of Commerce of the Moriches is proud to recognize this month’s Business Student of the Month, Max Rayburn, for his outstanding dedication to both his academic and extracurricular pursuits. Throughout his high school career, Max has taken full advantage of the business curriculum, completing all available courses and developing a strong foundation in entrepreneurship, marketing, and finance. These experiences have inspired him to pursue a degree in finance this fall at the University of Alabama.
Beyond the classroom, Max is an active member of the community, volunteering with the Center Moriches Little League where he assists with clinics, helps young players build fundamental skills, and supports game operations. His commitment to giving back reflects the strong sense of community pride that defines Center Moriches.
He is also a familiar face at school events, serving as the voice of Center Moriches TV and frequently acting as MC for major events such as pep rallies, STEM Day, and the PS I Love You Day Run Series. These roles have helped him develop confidence and strong communication skills.
A dedicated student-athlete, Max also plays baseball, further strengthening his leadership and teamwork abilities. His participation in Virtual Enterprise trade shows has provided valuable real-world business experience, allowing him to collaborate with peers in a professional setting.
