Keep Islip Clean and Connetquot Cares teamed up to clean up Byron Lake/Second Pond on Sunday, Aug. 15. Picking up debris from the surrounding area, nearly two-dozen volunteers helped bring back the beauty of the pond, especially with its characteristic water lilies.
