The Bayport Civic Association conducted its 19th annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway.
Over the past 19 years, the BCA has handed out over eight tons of free turkeys and $20,000 worth of supermarket gift cards to those in need in the community. This year, distributions were made at the Our Lady of Snow Food Pantry, the Sylvan Avenue Elementary School, the Sayville Food Pantry and the Bayport United Methodist Church Outreach. Pictured above is Bayport Civic president Bob Draffin presenting King Kullen gift cards to BUMC’s pastor Sejin Cha.
