Alive After Five® is on Tonight!

Posted

After a review of the weather forecast and predicted future radar footage of expected conditions for Patchogue later today, the chamber is happy to announce that Alive After Five® scheduled for tonight, Thursday July 27, is on!

While there is a possibility of rain showers between 3-5 p.m., and also later, after 8 p.m., they said they are confident any rain that comes through will be brief and pass by quickly. Most, if not all, of the Festival tonight will be dry.

Still, anyone coming to AAA5 tonight should be prepared and keep in mind the below common sense suggestions:

-It will be a hot and humid evening, so dress appropriately and keep hydrated by drinking lots of water.

-It will also be very windy. All vendors have been instructed to keep their both spaces secure in the wind, but stay alert & aware of your surroundings if strong wind gusts develop.

-Air Quality will be in a range that anyone with a pre-existing respiratory condition should be mindful of how much time you spend outdoors.

-And, while any rain passing by will be brief, you should still bring something to keep you dry if any rain does come through.

We are grateful that we will have onsite personnel from the Suffolk Police, Patchogue Fire Department, Patchogue Ambulance Company and Village of Patchogue Public Safety, along with our hired Security team, ready to respond to any situation.

Please be attentive to any instructions by public safety and security to clear the area quickly if requested to do so.

"We look forward to see everyone in downtown Patchogue tonight for Alive After Five® to enjoy great Music, food, drink and shopping at Long Island’s best outdoor street festival!" said the chamber.
