A lemonade stand for a good cause

Four-year-old Skylar Skippon held a lemonade stand a few weeks ago on a hot summer day. According to her parents Katie, a Suffolk County police officer, and John, a Medford EMT, and Farmingville firefighter as well as a Suffolk County Police Department employee, she made more money than she ever thought and decided she wanted to help someone. Since then, she has decided to host another lemonade stand at her Medford home this weekend on Sunday, July 30. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 59 White Pine Way. She will donate all the proceeds to the Cohens Children’s Medical Center.
