On Wednesday, July 14, the Symphonic Band of Bay Shore/Brightwaters performed at the bandshell on Main Street in Bay Shore. The band is completely volunteer and had only one rehearsal to put this special concert together. Conducted by Joel Levy (pictured) and Terry Nigrelli, the former cultural arts director at Bay Shore Schools, the concert featured patriotic hits and Broadway favorites.
