This is Halloween!
The Solomon family moved to Patchogue Village from Islip four years ago and have been decorating for Halloween ever since. Amanda Solomon said Halloween is her favorite holiday, and every year the lawn collection grows. Anthony Solomon, her husband, can be found hiding among the standups in costume, ready to scare trick-or-treaters. Most of the decorations are handmade from costumes he wore in previous years, while others are ideas from Pinterest. After a number of calls from residents in the area who have taken a liking to the decorations, the Long Island Advance has, for the second year in a row, deemed it possibly the scariest house in the village.
