A generous donation of $1,347 was recently given to Patchogue-Medford Youth Community Services (PMYCS) from local business, The Village Idiot Pub (VIP) to assist the organization in upgrading the agency’s outdated personal computer hardware and software.

“As the only non-profit agency solely dedicated to bettering the lives of at-risk families and children in the Pat-Med community, PMYCS is fortunate to have the unwavering and generous support of the local business community.  That has again proven true thanks to John Sarno and the kind folks at VIP,” said Kourtney Bevis, Executive Director of PMYCS.

PMYCS is a non-profit organization that provides in-school counseling programs, holiday assistance and recreational programs for the families and children of the Patchogue-Medford communities.

“Our primary support comes from town and county budgets and with those budgets considerably strained, we often forego even the simplest of upgrades which makes the donation by VIP so perfectly timed and desperately needed,” continued Bevis.
